One person has been shot dead as two Chinese were kidnapped at a mining site in the Arufu community in the Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Though the names of the victims were not revealed to the media but Taraba State Police Public Relations Officer, David Misal, confirmed the incident.

He added that all is been done by the police to secure the release of the kidnapped victims.
The police said that Southern Taraba where Wukari was located, has been a hotbed for kidnapping activities in the state.
