More than one thousand less privileged and low income earners, from the Ganjuwa and Darazo Local Government Areas of Bauchi State, have benefited from the Empowerment program of the State.
The initiative, under the state’s Economic Empowerment Programme, is to improve the economic well being of the citizens, in line with Governor Bala Mohammed’s Campaign Promises.
Bala Mohammed said that , after spending about two years on the provision of infrastructural development across the state, his administration will now embark on the human capital development, to address the challenges of poverty and unemployment.
He added that arrangements are in an advanced stage, to also provide subsidized loans of five hundred million Naira, for the traders and artisans, to boost their business activities.

Some of the Items distributed, are grinding and sewing machines, popcorn making machines, motorcycles and GSM starter packs, among others.
