12 Covid-19 deaths in Nigeria in 24 hours with 1,270 new cases

There are 12 people who have died of Covid-19 related complications across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll rising to 1,373.

Meanwhile, 1,270 new Covid-19 cases are reported in 22 states with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria put at 102,601

Lagos records 435 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-234; Oyo-103; Plateau-86; Rivers-71; Enugu-51; Nasarawa-41; Delta and Edo-39 each.

Osun reports 33 new Covid-19 cases; Niger-31; Sokoto-23; Ondo-16; Taraba-13; Ebonyi-12; Kano-10; Abia-9; Bayelsa-8; Bauchi-7; Imo-5; Katsina-3 and Gombe-1.

The total number of successfully treated cases in Nigeria is put at 81,574 following the discharge of 1,133 patients in the last 24 hours nationwide.
