Twelve persons are feared to have lost their lives after the boat they were traveling in capsided along River Kaduna in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State.
Seven persons however survived the mishap.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening as they returned from their farms in Kudumi village after harvest.
The boat was also carrying the farm produce which included rice and yams.

Local divers rescued 7 of the 19 out of persons on board when the accident happened.
Eyewitnesses told AIT that two bodies have been recovered from the water.
