The National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE is threatening to down tools over the November 8 kidnap of 13 members from Zaria local Government Area of Kaduna State along Zaria-Kaduna Road.
National President Of NULGE, Akeem Ambali at a briefing Says although one of the abducted members have been released, the kidnappers are demanding 40 million naira for the release of the other 12.
Ambali said there are nine married women among the kidnapped victims and some of them are nursing mothers.

The NULGE president said it is unfortunate that neither the police nor any security agent has given any statement on the kidnap of the Zaria local government’s workers.
NULGE further calls on all security agencies to restrategise to ensure safety of lives and property of Nigerians everywhere.
