Troops of Operation Sahel Sanity in the Northwest region have recorded Hugh successes.
They have arrested 13 suspected bandits, rescued 10 abducted victims, neutralized 2 bandits as well arrested 1 bandit informant between the 24th and 28th of August.
The Acting Defence Media Operations man, Brigadier-General Bernard Onyeuko, stated this in a Press Statement.
He said, the troops also foiled bandits attacks on 2 villages in Katsina and Zamfara States.

The statement said the successes occurred at different villages of Katsina and Zamfara States.
Onyeuko further added that, all the rescued victims have been reunited with their families, while the arrested suspects and their informant are undergoing investigation, with the aim of apprehending other criminals in the general area.
He further urged the troops not to rest on their oars until the Northwest is rid of all forms of criminality.
