State governor Inuwa Yahaya added that government would also investigate and prosecute those behind the attacks, just he assured the people of their safety.

As part of the lasting peace, the Gombe Governor said that, he has reached out to his Adamawa Counterpart Ahmadu Fintiri, to find a lasting solution to the crisis between the ethnic tribes.
