About 162 stranded Nigerians in Libya arrived the Murtala Muhammed international airport, Lagos, this morning.
The returnees who were brought back with the assistance of the international organisation for migration IOM, through the voluntary repatriation programme for the distressed arrived on board a chartered aircraft at 2am this Wednesday.


The returnees were recieved at the airport by officials of Port health, National commission for Resilience Migration and IDPs, as well as NEMA and the Nigeria Immigration service.

The returnees comprise of 98 adult females 28 adult males, 19 female children, 5 male children, 9 female infants and 3 male infants.

Five of the returnees have various types of health related issues.
