Eighteen passengers of a bus heading to Benin Republic are feared to have died in an accident on Sunday.
The bus collided with a truck in Agemowo on the Lagos-Badagry expressway after departing Yaba area in Lagos.
Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Taofiq Adebayo confirmed the incident.
The driver of the commercial bus according to reports attempted to overtake a vehicle when he lost control and collided with the truck.
