There are 20 new Covid-19 fatalities reported in Nigeria in the last 24 hours. The death toll in the country is now 833.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has also confirmed 604 new Covid-19 infections in 21 states. This brings the total number of cases in Nigeria to 38,948.
The new Covid-19 cases are recorded in Lagos-203; Oyo-87; FCT-79; Edo-41; Osun-35; Ogun-24; Rivers and Kaduna-22 each. Others are in Akwa Ibom-20; Plateau-18; Delta and Ebonyi-9 each; Imo-8; Enugu, Kano and Cross River-5 each; Katsina-4; Nasarawa-3; Borno and Ekiti-2 each; Bauchi-1.

Meanwhile, there are 246 Covid-19 patients discharged in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases in the country now 16,061.
