The case involving 20 suspects accused of carrying out deadly attacks on travelers in Mangun community has resumed at the Plateau State High Court.
This follows the submission of an amended charge by the prosecution.
Prosecution counsel, Samuel Ikutanwa, presented a four-count amended charge against the 20 accused persons. The charges include criminal conspiracy, causing grievous bodily harm, and culpable homicide.
All the defendants—residents of Mangun—pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A bail application filed by the defense counsel Garba Pwul SAN.could not be heard, as the presiding judge, Justice Boniface Ngyon, is set to proceed on vacation. However, the defense was advised to reapply before a vacation judge.
Following the pleas, the case has been adjourned to the 13th of October for further hearing
