The Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it will soon commence arrangements to pay any hajj depositors who may wish to request for refund.
This is contained in a statement by the board’s Public Relations Officer, Badaru Karofi.
According to the statement, those wishing to roll over their deposits to the 2022 hajj period will be free to do so, on conditions to be laid out by the board soon.
Karofi further noted that, just like the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, the state’s pilgrims board respects the decision of the Saudi Arabian authority, which is as a result of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, and the emergence of new variants.
