The All Progressives Congress APC said it has made 2.58 billion Naira from sales of Presidential nomination and expression of interest forms alone for the 2023 election.
The amount was realised from 27 Aspirants, one of whom is a female who paid 30 million and an under 40 years who parted with 50percent of the required sum of 100million.
The waivers were meant to encourage women, youths and people with disabilities.
Sale of forms ended by 11.59pm on Tuesday, May 10 while deadline for submission is scheduled for Wednesday May 11.
The number of Aspirants for Governorship, National Assembly and state Assemblies positions could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report
