2023: Buhari meet Minister’s seeking Elective Office

President Muhammadu Buhari has been meeting with ministers seeking elective offices in 2023.

The meeting is in line with the president’s directive to all political appointees contesting for various elective positions, to resign from their appointments, on or before Monday, May 16, 2022.

The ministers who were at the meeting included the Minister of State for Mines and Steel, Uche Ogar, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Women Affairs, Paullen Tallen.

Others are Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Goodwill Akpabio, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, Minister of Science, Technology And Innovation, Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Tayo Alasoadura.

The farewell meeting was held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
