As the campaign season for the February 2023 general elections in Nigeria officially began last Wednesday, supporters of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar have been charged to hit the ground running by embarking on mass grassroots mobilisation of the electorates to ensure the victory of the former Vice President.
The Chairman of the Atiku/Okowa 2023 Presidential Campaign Organization in Ebonyi State, Emma Ukpai gave the charge in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital
Ukpai who addressed members of the Atiku Diaspora Support Group, one of the many support groups working to ensure that Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa become the next President and Vice, urged them to go deep down the homes to win support for all the candidates of the PDP.
Ukpai, told the supporters not to be swayed by the buzzes being made by some other political parties, but to remain bold while carrying out the task of marketing their presidential candidate, and other candidates of the PDP in the State.
For the members of the Atiku Support Group, they are battle ready for the task ahead.
