As the 2023 general election approaches the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has made it clear that his State will only support a candidate who can guarantee the safety of its people who have suffered several years of insecurity and neglect.

Governor Ortom made this known while receiving a frontline candidate of the People’s Democratic Party Atiku Abubakar.

The nations food basket is at the centre of a humanitarian crisis of immense proportion with majority of its farming populace displaced and threatened on a daily basis with dire consequences on the food security of the entire country.

As the 2023 general election approaches with people clamoring for the number one position, the government and people of the State need above all one that can amongst other things provide security for life and property.
