The Chief spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has hailed the Supreme Court for declaring the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan as the authentic candidate of the party for Yobe North Senatorial District in the February 25 general elections.
Speaking o AIT’s election coverage programme ”Road to 2023”, Keyamo said the Apex court’s judgment affirms the powers of the National Executive Committee of political parties in primary elections.

The court made the declaration in a three-against-two split judgment of its five-member panel led by Justice Centus Nweze.
Keyamo who is also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment said the Re-designed Naira Notes Policy is not against the ruling party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu as perceived by opposition parties.
He said that no cabal in the Presidential Villa can scuttle the victory of Tinubu and Shettima in the 2023 presidential election.
