The Lagos State Police Command, says investigations have commenced into the circumstances surrounding the bloody attack on Labour Party supporters who were on their way to the grand finale rally at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan in Lagos State on Saturday.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin who made this known also revealed that four persons who sustained injuries have been taken to the hospital for medical attention and are responding to treatment.

Hundeyin explained that the State Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the investigations from Ilasan Division which had earlier commenced preliminary findings.
The police image maker reiterated the Command’s determination to leave no stone unturned and deal decisively with the offenders in accordance with the law.
The Lagos State Police Command condemns the attack and also advises political leaders to prevail on their followers to be law-abiding and shun violence.
