A Federal High Court sitting in Uyo has dismissed an allegation of WAEC certificates forgery levelled against the Akwa Ibom PDP governorship candidate, Umo Eno by an aspirant in the party’s governorship primary , Akan Okon.
Justice Agatha Okeke in her judgment delivered Friday evening dismissed the case for lack of merit and awarded N15m cost against Okon in favour of Eno, PDP and INEC who were defendants in the case.
The Court held that all the claims by the plaintiff were based on assumptions and speculations.
