The Peoples Democratic Party PDP has described as reprehensible the attack on its presidential rally in Kaduna State by the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
In a statement by the party’s national publicity secretary Debo Ologunagba, the PDP insists that the alleged violent actions of the APC on its rally in Kaduna runs contrary to the undertaking in the peace accord signed by political parties on September 28, 2022.

The party also mentioned that the APC having allegedly failed to legitimately sponsor candidates for the 2023 election has become intimidated by the Atiku Abubakar’s popularity and acceptance from a majority of Nigerians following his practical experience and will power to unite the nation.
The PDP says it remains undeterred by the actions of the APC which became evident following the turn out of supporters who came out enmasse to reinforce their stand for its presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
The party also acknowledged the massive inflow of new members into the PDP while urging President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure adequate security for credible electoral process in 2023.
