Police in Osun state says it has identified some flash points in the state and has deployed security agents to the areas .
Atakumosa East, Atakumosa West, Ilesa East and Ilesa West according to the police have been identified as volatile areas requiring special security attention .
Commissioner of police in charge of Election in Osun state, Peter Abayomi disclosed this while briefing the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Election in the southwest, Johnson Kokumo at the police headquarters in Osogbo the Osun State Capital.
Addressing the officers and men in the state, DIG Kokumo says adequate security arrangements have been made with sister agencies to ensure security is provided for both electoral officials and the electorate.
Kokumo called on officers to abide by their calling by ensuring electorate comply with the electoral guidelines , before, during and after the election .
He warned them against any action that can undermine the image of the police force.
