Members of the Rivers state chapter of the All progressives Congress APC say they are unperturbed by the nullification of the party primaries that produced candidates for the 2023 general election.

The party stalwarts who stated this on the sidelines of stakeholders meeting in Port Harcourt, expressed optimism that Rivers State APC will be on the ballot and will win at the polls.

According to them the nullification of the Rivers state APC Candidates justice E.A.Obile,due to the exclusion of George Orlu and others,is not strange.
They said the judge was misled and that they are confident the nullification will not stand the test of time at the higher courts.

According to the Rivers south east senatorial candidate of the party, orji ngofa, it is laughable that despite available records showing that the plaintiffs were no longer members of the party and that they were not joined in the suit, the primary was still nullified.

They fingered the ruling Peoples Democratic party PDP for masterminding the latest development, which they alleged was aimed at slowing down Rivers APC towards the 2023 Election.

They urged supporters of the party and residents not to lose sleep ,assuring that the party will be on the ballot next year.
