The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Zamfara State says, it is going to the 2023 polls united, debunking claims that there are factions within the party.

A member of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, and Chairman of the State Governorship Campaign Council, Barrister Mahdi Gusau, said this to journalists, shortly after a meeting with all the Ward Chairmen, at the Zamfara Central Senatorial District, as part of the PCC grassroots mobilization of support for Atiku/Okowa, ahead of 25th February Elections.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council in Zamfara State, is leaving no stone unturned, as the party is sensitizing its members and supporters in the rural communities, over the new technology, Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BIVAS, introduced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the 2023 polls.

He said, the idea is to enlighten the Ward Chairmen to understand the use of the BIVAS and their duties, especially as they are the closest to the people in the rural communities so that they can help to take the message down.

A member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, who doubles as the Chairman of Zamfara State Governorship Campaign Council, Barrister Mahdi Gusau, told journalists shortly after the sensitization of its members and supporters at Zamfara Central Senatorial District, that the party is highly united, has no issues, and that the members are all working together, to ensure victory for Atiku Abubakar, Dauda Lawal-Dare, and all the National and State House of Assembly candidates in the elections.

The Acting Women’s Leader of the PDP in the state, Rabi Madawaki, is calling on women to come out en- mass to vote for the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who she believes is capable of addressing the problems plaguing the country.

Members and supporters of the PDP believe that voting for the PDP on February 25 and March 11, 2023, means ending the insecurity and economic hardship, which is being faced in the country.
