The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has said that his friends and political associates donated N135million worth of vehicles to some people in Kebbi State.
Addressing journalists in Birninkebbi, the capital of Kebbi State, the minister said, he did not donate the vehicles to any All Progressives Congress, APC executives or delegates in Kebbi State.
He said the recent donation of 135m Naira vehicles, has opened doors for other donations and support of many items including vehicles by well wishers.
He added that it was his friends and associates who donated and distributed the vehicles to long service workers in the Khadimiyya Foundation, saying the occasion was not for the distribution of vehicles to any APC stakeholders or delegates in Kebbi.
According to him, the story attributing the vehicle distribution to him was mischievous and misconstrued.
