Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde says whoever emerges as the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, would be one that has the interest of the people and the nation at heart.
The Governor who was speaking while receiving some presidential hopefuls of the party who paid him a visit at the Government house , Agodi , Ibadan, said the party would ensure the presidential candidate emerges through a consensus arrangement.
The Party’s presidential hopefuls, Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwa, his Bauchi state Counterpart, Bala Mohammed and Mohammed Hayatudeen held a closed door meeting with Oyo State Governor, Seyi makinde in Ibadan.

Briefing journalists after the meeting, they said that stakeholders in the PDP would work hand-in-hand to ensure that the consensus option succeeds
The Presidential hopefuls and their host further said they will work hand in hand as a team to end insecurity and hardship in the country by making life better for Nigerians.
