The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has disowned 2023 Presidential campaign posters of him and the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Ameachi visible in the streets of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Speaking with State House Correspondents in Abuja on Friday; El-Rufai denied knowledge of the campaign posters; attributing the materials to the antics of mischief makers.
The Kaduna State Governor who was at the Presidential Villa on Friday met with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
On issues of insecurity in the State; El- Rufai said the situation in the South of the State has improved tremendously.
The Governor commended the efforts of the Nigerian military as well as other security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the State.
El-rufai distanced himself and the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi from 2023 Presidential campaign posters that have littered the streets of Abuja.
The Governor said he was at the Villa to brief the Vice President on the level of destruction he saw during his visit to Lagos on Thursday.
