The Convener of Nigeria National Christian Coalition, Titilope Oluwadare says Nigeria must do away with money politics to make room for active participation of the church.
Oluwadare said this in Abuja at a Summit Tagged ‘meet the church ‘ In 2023 organised by The Coalition In Preparation for The Nation’s General Elections.
Christian leaders from across Nigeria and the United Kingdom gathered in Abuja to deliberate on active participation of the church in 2023 general elections.
The convener of the summit Titilope Oluwadare said Muslim Muslim ticket is an aberration to a pluralistic nation like Nigeria.
Oluwadare and Uche Ekwunife who represented the Vice Presidential candidate of PDP, Ifeanyi Okowa agreed that issue based campaign should be the watchword of politicians as campaigns pick up this week rather than tribe or religion based sentiment.

Former speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara emphasised that no individual can fix Nigeria hence the need for christians and Muslims to work together in rescuing the country.
The summit with the theme ‘ The role of the church in nation building ‘ called on christians to rise to active participation in politics and restore hope to the citizens.
