Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule says the state is seeking to increase its industrial capacity further for the opportunity for job and wealth creation.
The Governor said this at a media conference in Abuja when he unveiled the theme for the Nasarawa Investment Summit 2024 scheduled to hold next month.
The second biannual Nasarawa Investment Summit put in place by his administration will in 2024 have the theme “Industrial Renaissance” with focus on mining and petroleum resources as key drivers of industrialisation
In mining, Governor Sule expressed satisfaction that the biggest Lithium processing plant in the country has been completed, with the 4,000 metric tonnes per day facility ready for commissioning by May
Managing Director of Nasarawa Investment Development Agency, NASIDA, Ibrahim Abdullahi outlined the expected goals from the upcoming summit.
He used the opportunity to commend President Bola Tinubu for initiating policies that are currently improving the revenue profile of states thus bringing about infrastructural development.
