The Governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi Sule has pledged to continue to work closely with the security agencies to keep the State safe
Governor Sule said this in the state capital Lafia during the state’s 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration.
The Nasarawa State Governor also declared that the welfare of families of deceased servicemen remains one of its top priorities.
Governor Sule explained that the fallen heroes deserved all the honour received as their supreme sacrifices helped to keep Nigeria as the single entity it is today
State Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Retired Colonel Hamidu Almajiri thanked Governor Sule for his administration’s support for the Legion
The event featured the traditional wreath laying and three gun salute, the inspection of a military parade by the governor and a free medical outreach
