The Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Bichi while presenting the Committee’s report noted that from the addition to the budget, N300 billion will be used to fund the provision of vaccines for HIV/AIDS following the US disengagement of foreign aid to Nigeria.

He further explained that some key Agencies like the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) and the Department of State Services (DSS), require additional fundings.
