The Ogun State Government says its economic focus for 2025 is to achieve real sector growth, job creation, food security, poverty alleviation, and attract investments to the state.
The Economic Advisor and Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Okubadejo disclosed this during a media parley to analyze the 2025 budget.
He explained that this will be achieved through public sector reforms.
The Ministry of Education received the largest allocation of 17% of the budget, with 13% for the Ministry of health.
The N1.055 trillion naira budget breakdown revealed that N453.56 billion will go towards recurrent expenditures, while N600.98 billion is earmarked for capital expenditures.
Personnel costs amount to N120.14 billion, and consolidated revenue costs total N37.49 billion.
