The 2025 Bauchi State Amirul Hajj, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Jama’are, Nuhu Mohammed Wabi, has reaffirmed his commitment to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj exercise, for the state’s pilgrims, travelling to the holy land of Saudi Arabia.
He gave the assurance during an official meeting with the Hajj Affairs Chairmen from all the twenty local government areas of Bauchi State being held in preparation for the upcoming pilgrimage.

Addressing journalists shortly after the meeting, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Jama’are, explained that the gathering is aimed at fostering collaboration and coordination among local government Hajj officials, to ensure a seamless and well-organised 2025 Hajj operation.

As Bauchi State is among the first batch of states scheduled for airlift to Saudi Arabia, the Amirul Hajj expressed gratitude for the early slot, and called on intending pilgrims to fully cooperate with Hajj officials, to facilitate smooth operations.

The Emir also assured pilgrims that his past experience in Hajj administration would be instrumental in overcoming potential challenges, especially issues related to Basic Travelling Allowance, (BTA), and the coordination of sacrificial rites, (Hadaya).

Also speaking, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdurahaman Idris, and the Secretary of the Amirul Hajj Team, Haruna Barde, commended Governor Bala Mohammed, for appointing the Emir of Jama’are, as the 2025 Amirul Hajj, and assured their support for a successful exercise.
