Former Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia North Orji Uzor Kalu, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains unmoved by ongoing talks of an opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 general election.
Addressing journalists at the National Assembly on Tuesday, Kalu dismissed fears that a united opposition could pose a threat to President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Kalu noted that the movement began within the Southeast APC Caucus and has since gained traction across various party structures.
He highlighted his own visible support, pointing to his outfit adorned with symbols of the President’s campaign insignia.
He further dismissed suggestions that these endorsements are reactions to political pressure or fear of opposition strength.
