The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made the right move by zoning its presidential ticket to the South but noted that the decision came too late.
Speaking during his monthly media chat on Monday, where he addressed a range of issues, including the recently concluded council elections in Rivers State, the Minister clarified that he is not against the party’s National Convention in Oyo State. However, he maintained that the PDP must address the concerns of its members at the zonal level before proceeding with the convention.
