28years old woman Electrocuted in Abuja

A twenty-eight year old lady, Susan Oleghe has been electrocuted to death in the premises of an Abuja lounge commonly known as Hustle and Bustle in Wuse 2 area of the Federal Capital Territory.

The incident which occurred early hours of Sunday morning is seen in a CCTV Footage when the lady tripped over an uneven iron plate, staggered and fell on naked wires of bulb sockets on the floor of the premises.

The Footage also shows an attempt by the deceased friend to pull him off but recoiled on realizing that his friend has been electrocuted.

He Consequently held the dead lady from her shoes and pulled her away from the open sockets.

Family Members who declined to speak on camera are demanding for justice over the death of their sister and daughter.
They are accussing the club owners of gross health and safety negligence.

The family told AIT that the club owners failed to report the incident to Police as soon as it occurred.

The case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department of Nigeria Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory
