At least 200 out of the 230 statutory delegates listed for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP primary election in Awka, the Anambra State capital have been accredited.
The process appears moving smoothly so far at the Dora Akuyili Women Development Centre, with party faithfuls hopeful of a credible poll.

Already 3 aspirants have withdrawn from the race with complaints of complicity from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP leadership.
But, while the supposed mainstream primary election of the PDP is yet to start, a candidate has emerged from the Chris Uba led-faction.
Senator Ugochukwu Uba defeated other aspirants by polling 275 out of a total of 665 votes.
Meanwhile, the 21 nominated persons living with disability who were dropped by the National Working Committee of the PDP, participated at the factional primary election by the Chris Uba group.
