Three more patients who tested positive to COVID-19 in Akwa Ibom State have been successfully treated and discharged.

It is a joyous day for the discharged COVID -19 patients as it is time for them to go home and unite with their family and friends after what can be described as a difficult period of their lives.
Dr. Oto Obong Asuquo who is one of those discharged says the experience will not deter him from his duty and calls on people to protect themselves.
This brings to 6, the number of patients successfully treated and discharged out of the 12 positive cases recorded in the State.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Health, Dominic Ukpong says the State’s testing laboratory will be ready within a week.
