Nigeria’s rich and diverse culture was again brought to the fore as a veritable tool for huge revenue generation at the end of the 3-day International Arts and Crafts Expo which ended on Friday in Abuja.
The event organized by the National Council for Arts and Culture was used to promote Nigeria’s Culture, Crafts and history through creative arts.
The Director General of the Council, Olusegun Runsewe said harnessing these potentials will unlock the treasure the country has hidden for decades.

Runsewe’s view was also shared by participants at the event where there was a huge display of creative work done in the main by young artists
Members of the diplomatic community present at the exhibition joined other art enthusiasts and stakeholders call for more investment in the arts and crafts sector by government in such a way that will enable it contribute meaningfully contribute to the economy especially in the area of employment generation
