At least three COVID-19 patients in Kano State are on the run according to the Coordinator of Kano State Technical Response Team on COVID-19, Tijjani Hussain.
The patients, according to the Coordinator, ran away after they tested positive for Coronavirus. Efforts are on the way to track the patients as they have deserted their homes and switched off their mobile phones.

When AIT contacted the Response Team Coordinator regarding the escapees if they have been traced and taken back into care, he promised to get back as he claimed to be busy with other things.
