Three policemen have been confirmed injured by unknown gunmen during an exchange of gunfire with the security operatives attached to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s convoy.
The attack was launched while the convoy was on its way back from Zamfara State, where the Zamfara Governor defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

It was confirmed that the three governors of Kano, Jigawa and Yobe had arrived in Kano, before the attack.
The source also told ait.live that the ambulance in the convoy was damaged.
