The people of Itsekiri ethnic nationality in Delta State now have a new monarch, he is 37years old entrepreneur, Tsola Emiko, Prince Emiko was crowned the new Olu of Warri Kingdom with the title, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse lll.
He was crowned the 21st Olu of Warri, after the demise of his predecessor, Ogiame Ikenwoli who died of Covid -19.

The ceremony which started in the early hours of Saturday morning with a boat regatta was graced by thousands of Itsekiri indigenes as well as politicians, industrialist, traditional rulers and religious leaders
The new Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse who is the youngest Olu to have ascended the throne was crowned in Ode Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Iwere people.
The Ascension of the new Monarch of Warri was however keenly contest by several ruling houses before the coronation of Tsola Emiko.
