4 kidnapped female victims rescued by Police in Zamfara State

Zamfara State 4 kidnapped female victims

Operation Restore Peace of the Zamfara Police Command has rescued four kidnapped female victims at Bilbis community in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in Zamfara State, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said, the four women were abducted by suspected bandits three weeks ago at Bilbis area of Tsafe Local Government Area.

The Command under the leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Hussaini Rabiu, had deployed Police Tactical Operatives attached to “Operation Restore Peace” to the area, with the mandate to rescue the kidnapped women hale and hearty.

In compliance with the directives, on 25th June 2021, the operatives worked on credible intelligence that led to the successful rescue of the kidnapped victims.

All the victims were screened medically and later debriefed by the police, before being reunited with their families.

The police said, effort is being made to arrest the perpetrators of the crime, to face the full wrath of the law.
