AIT gathered, that the invasion of the community also led to four persons missing despite the imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew on the Local government by the state Governor Simon Lalong.

While confirming the incident to AIT the National President of the Irigwe Development Association (IDA), Ezekiel Bini, said the attack was carried out by suspected herdsmen while the whereabouts of the four missing persons have remained unknown after they were captured by the gunmen.

According to Bini, the People were in their homes when the gunmen came and killed them despite the curfew imposed by the state government and burnt down their houses.

He said the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the mortuary.

At the time of filing this report, the Plateau State Police Command is yet to make a statement regarding the fresh attack.
