50th Wedding anniversary of Reverend Matthew and Veronica Okpebholo

The fiftieth wedding anniversary of renowed philanthropists, Right Reverend Matthew and Reverend Veronica Okpebholo has been held in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

Prominent Nigerians converged on Uromi in Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State to felicitate with the Chief Executive Officer of Ray Royal Construction Company, Right Reverend (Dr) Matthew and his wife, Reverend Veronica Okpebholo on the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

As part of activities lined up to celebrate the auspicious occasion; a school, St. Matthews Royal College built by the lover of education and business magnate is commissioned.

A Police Post to ensure safety in and around the school environment is also inauguated by the Area Commander of Uromi Police Headquarters, Tarzan Tsav on behalf of the State Commissioner of Police, Abutu Yaro.

Onomen Briggs is the President of St. Matthews Royal College.

She says the boarding school for boys and girls which is now open for registration into JSS one and two for the 2022/2023 session has all it takes to provide quality learning.

Eminent personalities present at the double celebration commend the initiative.

They say the man of God is a philanthropist per excellence who has contributed immensely to the development of Edo State and Nigeria.
