The 61st Nigerian Independence Anniversary will involve a ceremonial parade and the traditional firing of Artillery Gun during the occasion.
A statement by the spokesman Guards Brigade, Captain Godfrey Abakpa said, the brigade is urging the general public, especially those living within Asokoro and its environs, not to panic at the sound of the simulated firing of Artillery Guns, during the anniversary parade.
