President Bola Tinubu has described his wife and country’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu as his trusted partner in every venture.

The President stated this in a message to his wife on his X handle (formally Twitter) to celebrate her 63rd birthday,

“My trusted partner in every venture, and the one special person who has consistently filled my days with joy and laughter over 36 amazing years.”

The message says “Today is not only a day to mark another year of purposeful life but a beautiful reminder of the journey embarked upon together.”

He adds that through all the years, they have shared in the uncertainty of dangerous, but principled stands against tyranny which many can not fully appreciate the sacrifices you made for us during that harrowing, dark era, but he does and always will.

“Our bond has only grown stronger through thick and thin, and our love and commitment to each other has only deepened with time.”

Thanking her for being the ever-present sunshine that brightens his darkest hours, the President wishes her a happy birthday and looks forward to many more years filled with even greater laughter and love.

His prayer for her is that “May the Good Lord, whom you serve with all your heart, continue to bless you with good health and longevity.”
