Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people
Gov. gave the commitment at the 64th Anniversary of Nigeria Independence urging Nigerians to keep hope alive in the face of the daunting challenges that accompany the fiscal reforms of the government.
As part of Government’s sensitivity to the plight of the people, Governor Makinde extended the subsidy on transportation in the state for another six months under the Sustainable Action for Economic Recovery (SAfER) scheme.
He urged Nigerians not to dwell on the difficulties of the present rather use this period to reflect on how to ensure that the future of the nation is better than the past.
