Another batch of 123 stranded Nigerians in Sudan who were evacuated from Port Sudan has arrived at the Pilgrims Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, today at 12:25 pm.
The evacuees were airlifted by a Sudanese-owned airline, Tarco Aviation, with more students and other Nigerians based in the conflict-hit country.
Speaking on behalf of the returnees, Sarauniya Mustapha, said they are hopeful that the Federal Government will complete what it started, by evacuating Nigerians from conflict-ridden Sudan.
This is the 13th flight to the Abuja airport in 8 days, bringing the number of evacuees to 2,544, while others are expected to arrive before the weekend.
