7 Covid-19 deaths in Nigeria with 838 new cases in 24 hours

There are 7 Covid-19 deaths recorded across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with national death toll put at 1,254 deaths.

Meanwhile, 16 states are reporting 838 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 84,414.

FCT has 297 new Covid-19 cases; Lagos-253; Plateau-82; Kaduna-57; Katsina-32; Nasarawa-31; Kano-25 and Gombe-24.

Oyo and Rivers States have-8 new Covid-19 cases each; Zamfara-7; Ogun, Bauchi and Edo-4 each; Anambra and Sokoto-1

There are 539 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases nationwide now 71,034.
