The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee, LPPC, has elevated Seventy-Two legal practitioners to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Acting Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, Hajo Sarki-Bello, 62 of the 130 shortlisted for the year 2021 have been elevated to the Advocate category, while the remaining 10 are of the academic category.
Some of those elevated are the Attorney general of Ekiti State, Olawale Fapohunda, and Ayodeji Adedipe.

The rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, is awarded to members of the legal profession who have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.
The Swearing – in ceremony of the Seventy-Two Legal Practitioners by the Chief Justice of Nigeria is expected to come up on December 8, 2021.
